# RetainerProof

RetainerProof is a branded site-care digest for freelancers and small agencies. It watches a client site (a live check of the homepage every 15 minutes by default, down to 30 seconds per site, scheduled checks, TLS and domain expiry, a Lighthouse snapshot, extra paths) and shows a work log on a secret client page. Scheduled digests can be emailed to client addresses. A public status page can email confirmed subscribers when the site goes down and when it recovers.

The API can create sites (POST /api/v1/sites), update name, URL, cadence, live check interval, and the public status page (PATCH /api/v1/sites/{id}), delete a care site on that account only (DELETE /api/v1/sites/{id}), add status paths (POST /api/v1/sites/{id}/targets), create an app status page (POST /api/v1/apps), and write release notes for a care site or an app (POST /api/v1/sites/{id}/releases). Public notes show on the status page and on a care-site digest as What shipped. commitSha and url are stored for a later git view. Plan site limits and app packs still apply. A 404 on DELETE deletes nothing. A GitHub Actions example that posts a note on a tag is on the API docs page.
