Check a site the way I check one for a client.

Paste a public URL. I run the same homepage, certificate, domain, link sample, and mobile PageSpeed checks I use on a retainer, once, and I show you what came back. PageSpeed takes about 30 seconds. I do not save the URL or the snapshot.

http and https only. 5 checks an hour from one connection. Local and private addresses are refused, including a redirect or a sampled link that points at one. PageSpeed sends the URL to Google for the score. I do not save the URL.

If you already know the site, the monthly version is the part the client sees.

Send this to your client every month automatically

Questions I get about this page

Do you keep this check?

No. I count how many checks run, and how many I refuse. I do not store the URL, the snapshot, or who asked.

Is this the client report?

No. One request is not a month of uptime, and I will not invent a percentage from it. After you sign up, the digest is the page you send every month.

What if PageSpeed does not answer?

I say so. A timeout or a used-up quota is not a score, so I leave the numbers out.
